Delicious food! Every time Ive visited, the service has been decent and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is fairly small, but overall is nice and clean for the most part. I wouldn't recommend coming with a party of more than 4 people. It seems better to order from here rather than eating in. Still, delivery is delicious as well!
I've been to several Poke spots across the US as I travel for work. Great business model going for the BuildYoPoke. I hope to see them continue to expand. I can tell the owner is passionate and engaged. The food was delicious and fresh. The customer service was extremely detailed and attentive. I can't speak on other's experiences but our portions were generous.
Food was great!!! Best poke bowl in Columbus. Today was my first visit, so the protein portion threw me off a bit. But medium is the average size. Definitely is a to-go type of place. Service was quick, kind, and attentive.
Great service from the staff. They're willing to give their recommendations (which is typically towards a build your own rather than a set which won't be as customizable). From my understanding there's one other poke place in Columbus and this is my preferred poke location. Portion is good and again, if you're doing a build your own, you're allowed to ask for extra toppings; at least from what is included. Any additional costed toppings/proteins they'll usually inform you but it doesn't hurt to ask before you add it in. It's a smaller side for the establishment so you could eat there but it's just easier to grab and go. Now that we're getting into warmer weather I recommend bringing a cooler bag just to keep the fish at a safe temperature. Speaking of which, fish tastes fresh and you can tell that the employees have tried combinations as well (bonus in my opinion). Have been and will be back!
After an amazing lunch at their other store (Build Yo Salad), we just had to go to get some Poke. They greeted us warmly and offered us a sample of one of their special poke bowls. This sample was such a generous portion that all four of us were able to try it. The fish was so fresh and good. I ordered a medium poke with spicy salmon and spicy tuna and had her make it with all the ingredients she made the sample with. It was so delicious and like their other shop, generous portions. I'd come here often if I lived locally.
